When I became a mother for the first time, I felt alone and cut off from the world, despite the fact that my family was always there for me. Even though it’s often said that it takes a village to raise a child, I didn’t feel like I was part of a community of other mothers who could offer me advice and support. 

I’m grateful for my family who were always there to help me take care of my baby and myself in those first few days. But when it came to understanding my new identity as a mother and dealing with the challenges of motherhood, I felt lost and unsure of who to turn to for help. 

I was afraid of being judged and overwhelmed by feelings of guilt, which made me doubt my own instincts and prevented me from seeking the support I needed.

Looking back at my journey as a new mother, I moved to an isolated island, which made me realize the importance of a community where mothers can find support, solace, and inspiration. 

IslanderMomLife is a safe space for moms and moms-to-be like you, where you can feel safe, ask questions, and share your fears and challenges without any hesitation. Our community is a place where we replace judgment with understanding and encouragement.
